Ensim is pleased to announce the release of Ensim Pro for Linux (Fedora). Ensim Pro provides support for the Fedora Core 1.0 operating system, introduces new features and enhancements and resolves key issues.

Ensim Pro for Linux (Fedora) 3.7.0 provides a number of new or improved capabilities including:

  • E-mail scanning services
  • Support for dual Apache configuration
  • Enhancement to the Ensim Virtual Private File System
  • Optimized log management
  • Use of standard packages
  • Compatibility with MySQL™ 4.0.x

Please read the Release Notes for more details on the new capabilities of Ensim Pro, as well as known issues from previous versions that have been closed.

Installation Instructions:

Please read Knowledge Base Article 910 for important information about upgrading Perl to 5.8.3 that can cause your installation to fail.

Ensim Pro for Linux (Fedora) requires Fedora Core 1.0 servers.

Ensim Pro for Linux (Fedora) is currently available for NEW INSTALLS only. For information on migration from WEBppliance Pro for Linux 3.5.20 to Ensim Pro, please see Knowledge Base Article 882.

Licensing

Please note that you can use your existing Ensim Pro for Linux licenses with both Ensim Pro for Linux (Fedora) and WEBppliance Pro for Linux (Red Hat 7.3).
